South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) is the largest coal producing company of India. It is one of the eight fully owned subsidiaries of Coal India Limited. The company has its head office at Bilaspur and mines spread over Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh. It has total 92 Mines. Total Underground Mines are 70 and total Opencast mines are 21. There is 1 mixed mine. It is a schedule ‘B’ Mini Ratna CPSE in coal & lignite under the administrative control of Ministry of Coal.

Applications are invited for the following posts in South Eastern Coalfields Limited :

Mining Sirdar (Technical & Supervisory Grade-‘C’)
Number of vacancies : 249 (SC-35, OBC (General)-59, OBC ( Minority Community) -03, Gen-152)
Pay Scale : Rs. 10127.70/-
Qualification : HSC or equivalent examination passed from Govt. recognized Board. Mining Sirdar eligibility certificate issued by DGMS, Dhanbad. OR – Mining & Mine Survering Diploma (period 3 years) of recognized institute. Overman eligibility certificate issued by DGMS Dhanbad, including First Aid & Gas Testing Certificate, if they desire to work as Mining Sirdar 3. Valid First Aid & Gas Testing Certificate
Age as on date 01-01-2012 : Minimum 18 years and Maximum General - 30 years, OBC-33 years and SC-35 years.

Application filled as per format in plain paper along with two attested passport size photographs should be sent by post, addressed to General Manager (Man Power), South Eastern Coalfields Limited, P.B.No. 60, Bilaspur (CG) Pin 495 006. Application will be accepted only by post. The last date of receipt of complete filled application by this office is 31.03.2012. The application received after 31.03.2012 will not be entertained.
