Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) (established in its present form: June 15, 1983) is a leading paramilitary security force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on March 10, 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on June 15, 1983. Its current strength is 1,28,000. The strength will be raised to 145,000 over the next 2-3 years. CISF is the largest industrial security force in the world

Recruitment for filling up the following vacancies in the State of J&K for the temporary posts of CONSTABLE/GD(MALE & FEMALE) in the Central Industrial Security Force

Constable
Number of Vacancies : 456 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- Per Month + Grade Pay  Rs.2000/-
Qualifications : Matriculation or 10th class pass. Educational certificates other than State Board/ Central Board should be accompanied with Govt. of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Govt.
Age Limit: 18-23 Years.

Candidates who fulfill the above eligible criteria and wish to apply for the post of Constable in CISF may report at the recruitment centers as mentioned below. Recruitment will be held through rally system with effect from 15-03-2012 to 31-03-2012 continuously at the following recruitment centers:
