Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET)

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is a technical college in north India. The institute is located on 451 acres (1.83 km2) of land provided by the Punjab government in Longowal  village in Sangrur district. The institute was conceived by the government of India in 1985 as a tribute to Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, a Sikh leader in the 1970s. The institute was established by the Ministry Of Human Resource and Development in 1989 and was inaugurated on 20 December 1991. It was made a “Deemed to be University” by the UGC in April 2007Applications are invited on the prescribed format for the following positions:

Deputy Registrar

Qualifications : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale.

Assistant Registrar

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale along with good academic record, as laid down by UGC.

Audit/Accounts Officer
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Business Administration/   Science/ Commerce/ Arts with atleast 55% marks OR SAS.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech Degree In Electrical Engineering with at least 60%
marks or equivalent with atleast 5 years experience in Government
Department/ Public Undertaking/ Construction Agency of national repute not below the rank of Junior Engineer or equivalent

Medical Officer
Number of Vacancies : 04 Post (UR-3,OBC-1)
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications : MBBS; Must have completed internship from a recognized/ reputed Hospital as prescribed by the State/ Central Health Department with 02 years working experience in hospital OR Working Medical Officer in Health Department of the State/ Central Government with 02 years working experience in hospital

Hindi Officer

Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay : Rs. 4600/-
Qualifications : Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level. Or Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at degree level. Or Master’s Degree of a Recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as subject at Degree level.

Assistant Librarian

Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science with at least 55% marks with 02 years experience in appropriate field / level

Receptionist

Qualifications : Graduation with 03 (three) years experience as Receptionist and must be fluent in English/Hindi. Working knowledge of Computers
