Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) invites applications for the following posts:

Job Number: 01
Job Designation: Senior Resident
Number of Positions: 104 (One Hundred & Four)
Pay Scale: Rs.18600-20100/- Per Month + Grade Pay Rs.6000/- + 25%  NPA + Allowances.
Educational Qualification: MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. MD/MS/DNB in the subject concerned. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualification are not available, the persons having Diploma in the subject concerned OR training experience of more than three years as PG student in the subject will be considered. Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act. Those students, who are doing MD/MS Course in the speciality concerned, on selection as Sr.Resident, will have to discontinue their MD/MS Degree course beforejoining as Senior Resident.
Age Limit: Not less than 22 years or not more than 40 years.

Job Designation: Demonstrator (Basic Sciences)
Pay Scale: Rs.18600-20100+ Rs.6000(GP)+25% NPA + Allowances
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) Must be registered under the State/ Central Medical Registration Act. iii) Preference will be given to a postgraduate candidate. In the subjects of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc.
(Medical) qualifications in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Not less than 22 years or not more than 40 years.

Location of Posting: Rohtak

Application Fee: Application form  obtainable from HDFC Bank, Delhi Road, Model Town, Rohtak on cash payment of Rs.500/- for General Category and Rs.125/- for Reserved Categories at the counter or crossed demand draft worth Rs.550/- for General Category and Rs.175/- for Reserved Categories in the name of the Controller of Finance, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak by post. The prescribed proforma of the application form can also be downloaded  by enclosing a crossed Demand Draft worth Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 125/- for Reserved Categories in the name of Controller of Finance, Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak by post.

How To Apply For Opening: Applications, complete in all respects, must reach the O/O the Director, PGIMS, Rohtak by 28.3.2012 at 5.00 P.M . The eligible candidates for the posts of Senior Resident and Demonstrator may appear for interview on 17.4.2012 at 09.00 A.M. in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
