Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA)

Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) is the nodal institute to cater to the needs of the brackishwater aquaculture sector of the country and has been a pioneer in nutrition and feed technology for brackishwater aquaculture. CIBA has developed indigenous shrimp feed technology for the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) and successfully commercialized the technology to private entrepreneurs for commercial production

The following post is to be filled purely on temporary basis under the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) funded project of this Institute entitled “Monitoring of culture and disease occurrence in L. Vannamei hatcheries and farms ”

Senior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs.16,000/-  plus HRA @ 30% p.m.
Qualification : For Culture Monitoring – M.F.Sc. / M.Sc. Zoology, Aquaculture, Biological Sciences, Marine Fisheries or allied subjects
Age limit : Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview.  Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.

Eligible Candidates may appear for the Walk-in-interview on Thursday, 17th January 2013 at  10.30 a.m. – Conference Hall (2nd Floor) with original Master’s Degree Certificate, passport size photograph and bio-data enclosing attested copies of educational qualification & experience certificates. TA / DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
