Power Grid Corporation of India Limited – POWERGRID, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world.POWERGRID wheels about 45% of the total power generated in the country on its transmission network.POWERGRID has a pan India presence with  around 71,500 Circuit Kms of Transmission network and 120 nos. of EHVAC & HVDC sub-stations with a total transformation capacity of 79,500 MVA.POWERGRID has also diversified into Telecom business and established a telecom network of more than 20,000 Kms across the country.POWERGRID has consistently maintained the transmission system availability over  99% which is at par with the International Utilities.

To execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State for its transmission system, POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility, of the country invites applications from bright, fresh and energetic personnel for the following purely temporary posts on contract basis for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier:

Field Supervisors-Civil
No. of Vacancies : 24 Posts (UR-14,OBC-02,SC-02,ST-06)
Remuneration : Rs 23,000/- (1st year); Rs 25,500/- (2nd year)
Qualifications : Diploma Engineering in Civil Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks
Age limit : 29 years

Field Supervisors-Electrical
No. of Vacancies : 20 Posts (UR-12,OBC-1,SC-02,ST-05)
Remuneration : Rs 23,000/- (1st year); Rs 25,500/- (2nd year)
Qualifications : Diploma Engineering in Electrical Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks
Age limit : 29 years
