North Malabar Gramin Bank (NMGB)

North Malabar Gramin Bank (Malayalam: ????? ??????? ????????? ??????) (NMGB) is a regional rural bank in India. It was established in 1976 as a Scheduled Commercial Bank as per Regional Rural Banks Act of 1976 to provide banking facilities for farming and non-farming sectors in North Malabar region. Presently its area of operation is extended to 7 districts in Kerala, India. It finances farm and non-farm sectors and other employment generation programs through its 183 branches spread over these 7 districts. The government of India holds 50% of the shares of the bank while Syndicate Bank and the government of Kerala hold the balance 35% and 15% respectively. While day-to-day administration is performed by Syndicate Bank which is the sponsor bank, policy decisions are taken by NABARD on behalf of the government of India. The Bank is now in the process of converting its all branches into Core Banking branches.

(d) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or reputed research  institution/industry with a number of good quality publications in reputed journals and/or publication of books.

(c) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET. (d) However, the candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. (e) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Applications on good quality plain paper, in the given format, are invited from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for filling up 5020 posts in Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 having Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 in Division(s), Workshop(s), Unit(s) of North Western Railway.

Traffic Khallasi: 628 Posts

Khallasi/Helper /Safaiwala/Cleaner: 1044 Posts
Pay: PB-1 5200-20200+ 1800/- GP

Helper /Khallasi/ Safaiwala/Hospital Attendant/Cook: 100 Posts
Pay: PB-1 5200-20200+ 1800/- GP

Safaiwala: 30 Posts
Pay: PB-1 5200-20200+ 1800/- GP

Educational Qualification:
Minimum 10 thoClass Pass or ITI or equivalent. Those candidates who are appearing at and/or awaiting results of final examination of class 10th  or ITI orequivalent are not eligible. Academic qualification must be from a recognized Educational Institution / Board,
otherwise candidature will be rejected.

Examination Fees :
1. The Examination fee for unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs.40/- (Rs. Forty Only). No examination fees for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Women/Minorities/Econocicaly backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs. 50000/-.
2 The Examination fee should be paid in the form of Account payee Demand Draft/Pay Order from any Nationalized Bank or IPO from any Post Office drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment & Training),North Western Railway,Jaipur and payable at Jaipur. Validity of Bank Draft/Pay order/IPO should be six months.
3 Applications received with cash / Cheque / Central Recruitment stamps and Money orders will be rejected, and amount forfeited.
4 Postal orders/Bank drafts issued before the date of issue of Employment Notice will not be accepted, and such Application form will be rejected and amount forfeited.
5 The candidates are advised to write their name and address on the backside of the ORIGINAL Bank Draft/IPO/Pay Order and enclose it with the application form. The details of examination fee may be written in application form. Examination fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

Procedure for submission of application.
Candidate should carefully read the instructions in this Employment Notice for filling up application form. Application should be made on a good quality white paper of A4 size (210mm x 297mm) using ONE SIDE ONLY. The candidate should use the FORMAT published in the Employment Notice. The candidates have to fill up required information with Blue/Black Pen or Blue/Black Ball Point pen in his/her own handwriting. The application should be written either in English or Hindi and not in any other language. The application has to be duly dated and signed by the candidate. Application filled in any language other than Hindi/English, and by any person other than the applicant, and having any change in the format will be rejected summarily.
