The Rural Development and Research Foundation’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra Recruits Graduates (Agriculture / Horticulture / Fisheries) / PG /M .Sc / B.Sc. candidates in 2010
KVK is an Institutional Project of ICAR to demonstrate the Application of Science and Technology input of agricultural research on the farmers field with the help of a multi-disciplinary team of Scientists.
1. Programme Coordinator
Qualification:
Essential:
Doctorate degree in relevant field of Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Sciences / Fisheries including, Relevant basic Sciences with 4 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500, having made contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations OR With four years experience of high quality post doctoral research in an Institution of repute evidenced by publication in high impact / renounced Journals.
Desirable: Specialization in implementing Extension Education Programme
Age: Not more than 45 years on the date of advertisement. Relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST Candidates.

2. Subject Matter Specialist
Qualification:
Essential:
Master Degree in the relevant subject of specialization.
OR
Master’s Degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Two years experience in the KVK

3. Programme Assistant (Lab Technician)

B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture

4. Programme Assistant (Computers)

B.Sc. Computer Application/Bachelor in Computer Application/Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application.

Desirable: Two years experience in handling agri. based data on computer

5. Farm Manager

B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture.

6. Assistant
Qualification:

Master in Business Management / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management / M.A. / M.Com. / CA (or) B.Com / B.A. / Bachelor in Business Management with minimum 5 years of experience of junior Accountant or Senior Clerk dealing with Financial / Account matter.
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with working knowledge of computers.

7. Stenographer grade III

Matriculation and knowledge of Computer
Professional Efficiency:
The Candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The Candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.

8. Driver
Qualification:
Essential:
i)Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized board;
ii) Possession of a valid and appropriate driving licence from prescribed Government Authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate Committee of institute/Hqrs).
Desirable:
i) One year trade certificate in the relevant field from ITI; or
ii) Experience of driving in a recognized Institution ; or
iii) Experience of motor mechanic work
