National Insurance Company Limited, NIC, Recruitment of Administrative Officer Generalist, Specialist, Applications are invited for the following 300 posts of Administrative Officer (Scale-I) at Kolkata.
A. Administrative Officer (Specialist) :
No of Post : 80 posts (Automobile Engineering – 30, Legal-30, Medical-20)  (UR-49, SC-9, ST-4, OBC-19, PWD-3),

B. Administrative Officer (Generalist) :
No of Post : 220 posts (UR-109, SC-35, ST-15, OBC-61, PWD-6),

For Both Essential Qualification & Experience Group – A Specialist &  Generalist : B.E/ B. Tech. in Engineering with Specialization in Automobile Engineering OR Graduate in Engineering in any discipline with PG Diploma (at least one Year duration) in Automobile Engineering.
Essential Qualification & Experience Group – B : Graduate in Law.
Essential Qualification & Experience Group – C : Graduate in Medical (MBBS).
Essential Qualification & Experience Group – D : Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science, Engineering, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science. Preferred Qualification Graduate in any discipline as per 1 above with any of the following postgraduate professional qualification/s: M.B.A/ M.M.S / M.C.A /C.A./ I.C.W.A.
Age Limit For Both : Age as on 31/10/2010
Minimum age – 21 years Maximum age General – 30 years, OBC – 33 years, SC/ST – 35 years, ECO / SSRCO – 33 years, Persons with Disabilities, General – 40 years, OBC – 43 years, SC/ST – 45 years.
For both Scale of Pay : Total Emoluments will be about Rs. 26,600/- plus in Metropolitan Centres. Other benefits are P.F., Pension under New Pension Scheme under PFRDA. Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident and Group Savings Linked Insurance Scheme (GSLI) etc.

Selection Mode : Selection by competitive Written Exam on 30.01.2011 and interview for selected candidates.
