1. Director (Finance)

Qualifications:
1. CA/ICWA/CFA or MBA (First Class) with specialization in Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution
2. Ten years experience in Finance/ Accounts in Group ‘A’ cadre in Government/ Government organizations or comparable posts in the private sector
3. Working knowledge in Systems Accounting
Age: Not more than 45 years as on 01.12.2010

2. Director (Development)
Number of Post: 1 (One)
Category: General
Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + GP Rs.7600
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. First Class Masters Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Botany or equivalent from a recognized University.
2. Ten years experience in the production Development of Agricultural/Horticultural Crop(s) in a senior level position.
3. Experience in preparing, guiding and monitoring agricultural development projects
Desirable:
Doctorate Degree in any branch of Agricultural/ Horticultural Science/Botany from a recognized University.
Age: Not more than 45 years as on 01.12.2010

3. Scientist ‘B’ (Agronomy)
Number of posts: 1 (one)
Category: SC
Scale of pay: PB3: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. First Class Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture with specialization in Agronomy from a recognized University.
2. 3 years research experience as evidenced by published research papers.
Desirable:
Doctorate Degree in Agronomy from a recognized University.
Age: Not more than 35 years as on 1.12.2010 (Relaxable by 5 years).
Place of posting: Any of the Board’s Research Stations located in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Sikkim.

4. Scientist ‘B’ (Entomology)
Number of posts: 1 (one)
Category: General
Scale of pay: PB3: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. First Class Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture with specialization in Entomology from a recognized University.
2. 3 years research experience as evidenced by published research papers.
Desirable:
Doctorate Degree in Entomology from a recognized University.
Age: Not more than 35 years as on 1.12. 2010.
Place of posting: Any of the Board’s Research Stations located in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Sikkim.

5. Field Officer
Number of posts: 2 (Two)
Category: ST
Scale of Pay: PB2: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Qualifications :
1. First Class Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/First Class Post Graduate Degree in Botany from a recognized University.
2.Computer literate with knowledge of computer fundamentals and working knowledge in Windows/Linux Operating System, Word Processing, Electronic Worksheet, sending/receiving e-mail etc.
Age: Not more than 30 years as on 1.12. 2010 (Relaxable by 5 years).
Place of posting: Anywhere in India.
