HSL is the pioneer Shipbuilding and Ship repair Yard functioning under the Ministry of Defence. We require engineering graduates for appointment of below posts on the following terms:

Management Trainees (Technical)
No. of Posts: 6 (Reserved for SCs)
Qualfifications:
Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University/Institute with minimum 50% of marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters in the disciplines of _
A) Mechanical / Mech-Marine
B) Electrical and Electronics
Age: 30 years as on 01.11.2010
Duration of Training: One Year
Stipend during Training Consolidated stipend of Rs.15,000/- (all inclusive) per month vi) Pay Scale & Designation after completion of training Rs.16,400 – 40,500 as Engineer (E1 Grade)

General:
i) Mere possession of the requisite qualification and prescribed percentage of marks will not confer any right on the candidate to be called for written test . The Management reserves the right to fix enhanced percentage of marks as the eligibility criteria to decide the number of candidates to be called for written test with reference to the number of posts advertised.
ii) The Candidates qualified in the written test will have to appear for interview before the selection committee.
iii) The Management reserves the right to fix the number of posts to be filled depending upon the requirement.
iv) The selected candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the company for a period of 4 years after completion of Training period. They will be on probation for one year on completion of training.
v) Candidates presently employed in Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous bodies should route their applications through proper channel.
vi) Single to and fro Second Class train fare by the shortest route will be reimbursed to out-station SC candidates called for written test/interview as per the eligibility for attending written test / Interview
