Promotion/Deputation (including short-term contract):
1. Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognised Research Institutions/Universities/Semi-Governments/Statutory or Autonomous Organizations:-
a)(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale if pay of Rs.10,000-325-15,200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
i) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Matallurgical/Ceramics and Refractory Engineering / Technology of a recognised university or equivalent.
ii) Ten years experience in steel works,steel rolling mills or in a unit manufacturing plant machinery or machine tools; or
Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the applications.
