Tezpur University was established by an Act of Parliament in  1994. Associate Professor (Department of Hindi)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : PB-4 Rs 37,400-67,000/- + GP Rs 9,000/-
Qualifications : Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree in Hindi with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Deputy Librarian (Central Library)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs 15,600-39,100/- + GP Rs 8,000/-
Qualifications : A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
Age limit : 45 years

Hindi Translator (Administration)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (OBC)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs 9,300-34,800/- + GP Rs 4200/-
Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in English / Hindi from any recognised university and English / Hindi as a compulsory / optional subject at Degree level or as a medium of examination.
Age limit : 30 years
