Indian Bank

Indian Bank, established in 1907, is a major Indian Commercial Bank headquartered in Chennai (Madras), India. It has 22,000 employees, 1,657 branches and is one of the big public sector banks of India. It has overseas branches in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and 229 correspondent banks in 69 countries. The Government of India nationalized the bank, along with 13 other major commercial banks, on 19 July 1969.

Indian Bank Trust for Rural Development(IBTRD) is running 12 Indian Bank Self Employment Training Institutes (INDSETIs) at Namakkal, Salem, Thiruvannamalai, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Kancheepuram, Krishnagiri, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Villupuram (Tamil Nadu), Puducherry (U T of Puducherry) and Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), IBTRD is looking for engagement of support staff on contractual basis for a period of two years at above INDSETIs for training and official duties. The details are given below.

Faculty
No. of Vacancies : 12 Posts
Salary : Rs.15,000/-  per month in lump sum (No other allowances will be admissible).
Qualifications : MSW / M.Com / M.Sc / M.A in Rural Development/ MA in Sociology/ Psychology / B.Sc in Agriculture & allied subjects.
Experience : 3-5 years of teaching experience / social work / rural development, Shall have a flair for teaching.
Age limit : Below 65 years

Office Assistant
No. of Vacancies : 12 Posts
Salary : Rs.10,000/-  per month in lump sum (No other allowances will be admissible).
Qualifications : BSW / BA/ B Com/B.Sc – Knowledge in basic Accounts is a preferred qualification.
Experience : 2-3 years of experience in accounting / banking.
Age limit : Below 65 years
