Pay Scale: Rs. 8630-3%-12080/-
Educational Qualification: HSC with working knowledge of computer (MS office package). Preference to candidates with Graduation / PG in any subject, working knowledge of stenography
Age Limit: 18 years & Maximum 38 years as on 01-01-2012

Job Designation: Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)
Number of Positions: 10 (Ten)
Pay Scale: Rs. 8630-3%-12080/-
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and ITI pass in relevant trade Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mason, Turner, Diesel Mechanic and Motor Vehicle Mechanic. Preference to candidates with successful completion of apprenticeship training preferably in steel industry
Age Limit: 18 years & Maximum 38 years as on 01-01-2012

How To Apply For Opening: Application typed on a plain paper, giving full particulars in the enclosed format, addressed to Post Box No. 16, Post Office Sector-1, Bhilai, Distt-Durg, CG Pin – 490 001, along with a fresh crossed non-refundable A/c payee demand draft of Rs.50/- [Processing fees] drawn in favour of the Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bhilai Steel Plant, on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhilai with Branch Code No., should be sent through ordinary post (Post Bag does not accept Registered Post / Speed Post etc) and must reach on or before 16/04/2012. Incomplete applications or applications received after 16/04/2012 will not be considered. Application sent by any other means will not be accepted. E-mails/Fax correspondence will not be entertained. Bhilai Steel Plant will not be responsible for any postal delay.

General Conditions: 1 Vacancies are reserved for Disabled (Physically Challenged) Persons under Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996). 2 The above posts carry benefits such as CPF, Gratuity, Industrial DA, Conveyance Allowance, free medical facility, LTC/LLTC etc. as admissible & as per the rules of the company. 3 For the post of Attendant-cum-Jr.Staff Assistant (Trainee), applicants have to furnish a certificate regrading proficiency in MS Office package. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements need not apply. 4 All candidates found eligible for the post of Attendant-cum-Jr. Staff Assistant (Trainee) shall have to appear for a Written Test (Objective type) the date, time and place of which will be intimated later on. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the Written Test, will be called upon for Practical Test and Interview later on. Candidates found eligible for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) will have to appear for a Written Test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of Interview.
