The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) (Hindi:????????? ??????? ?????? ??? ???????? ???????) is a research institution in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. The Prime Minister of India laid the foundation stone on August 28, 2006. NISER operates under the umbrella of the Indian Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The government of India has earmarked an initial outlay of Rs. 823.19 crores (INR 8.23 billion) during the first seven years of this project, starting from September 2007.

Library Apprentices
Number of Positions: 02 (Two)
Pay Scale: Rs.5000/- per month (Consolidated)/-
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have B.Lib & Inf Sc / M.Lib & Inf Sc / M.Sc in Library Science, from a recognized university / institute. (Fresh degree in library science, result declared after Jan, 2011), Candidates should not have undergone any apprenticeship training., Work experience (if any) should not be more than one year., Science graduate with computer knowledge will be an added advantage

Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may appear for Walk in-interview on 19th November, 2011 (Saturday) at 9.00 am in NISER Academic Building, Institute of Physics Campus, P.O-Sainik School, Bhubaneswar-751005 .Candidates have to bring their Bio-data, original and attested copies of certificates; mark sheets of all examination passed from matriculation onward, a passport size photograph.
