Uttaranchal Gramin Bank (UGB) was established on June 30th 2006 vide Gazette Notification dated 30.06.2006 issued by Govt. of India, under section 3 (i) of RRBs Act 1976 (21 of 1976), after amalgamation of three erstwhile Regional Rural Banks viz. Ganga Yamuna Gramin Bank, Alaknanda Gramin Bank & Pithoragarh Kshetriya Gramin Bank, all sponsored by premier Commercial Bank of the country i.e. State Bank of India in the State of Uttarakhand. Accordingly, Bank’s area of operation is extended in the districts of Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarakashi, Haridwar, Pauri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag of Garhwal Division and district Pithoragarh and Champawat of Kumaun Division in Uttarakhand.
Applications are invited in Uttaranchal Gramin Bank for the following posts :
Officer Scale I Group-A
Number of vacancies : 26 Posts (SC-04,ST-02,OBC-07,Gen-13)
Qualification : Degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent.
Age limit : 18-28 Years.
Office Assistants Group-B
Number of vacancies : 23 Posts (SC-10,ST-02,OBC-07,Gen-34)
Qualification : Bachelor Degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent.
Age limit : 18-28 Years
Application Fee : For SC / ST / PC candidates : Rs.75/- for each post (towards Postal Charges only) , For all others including OBC : Rs.375/- for each post to be paid .
Selection Process : Written Exam (consist of objective test of Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, English Language and Clerical Aptitude) and Interview by a challan either in Uttaranchal Gramin Bank or in State Bank of India.

All eligible candidates should apply online only in the prescribed Format through Bank website www.uttaranchalbank.in. from 01.12.11 to 30.12.11. Please note that the last date for submission of online application is 30.12.11 .No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
