Project Directorate on Poultry (PDP)

The Project Directorate on Poultry (PDP) is one of the constituent research institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous multidisciplinary Research & Development Organization financially supported by Govt. of India. The Directorate was set up as a coordinating unit of All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Poultry in 1970 at Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The objectives of the Directorate are to coordinate research at AICRP centers located across the country and conduct research on the development and improvement of chicken lines for commercial and rural poultry production.

Project Directorate on Poultry invites applications for the following posts:

Senior Research Fellow
Number of Positions: 02 (Two)
Pay Scale: Rs.16000-18000/-
Educational Qualification: M.V.Sc. in Poultry Science/ Nutrition/Biochemistry /LPM/ M.Sc. Biochemistry. M.V.Sc. in Animal Genetics and Breeding (Molecular genetics) Poultry Science/ Animal Biotechnology/Microbiology/ M.Sc. Biotechnology.
Desirable: Experience in feed analysis and analytical procedures and gene expression studies.
Age Limit: Below 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women.
Location : Hyderabad

Walk–in-Interview will be held on 8th December, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Project Directorate On Poultry, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad 500 030. The Candidates should bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, one set of Photocopies of Certificates, Experience certificates if any, NOC from employer, if employed and a latest passport size Photograph at the time of interview. The eligible candidates in the subject area may register their candidature from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. only.
