Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-
Job Designation: Director
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with GP Rs.8700/- corressponding to the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.14300-400-18300.
Educational Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Ten years experience in teaching on subjects relating to cinema or mass communication or use of mass media including five years experience in administration.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of specialised techniques and technology of film classification and preservation for archival purposes;
2. Experience in film criticism or film research work including publications;and
3. Knowledge of foreign language.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the applications.
Period of Deputation: Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years.
