Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB)

The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) was constituted in the year 1975 vide Punjab Government Notification No. 6186-BR II (4) 75/24146 dated 30.07.1975, after the enactment of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 to preserve the wholesomeness of water. Punjab Pollution Control Board has been entrusted the task of implementation of environmental laws in the State of Punjab.

Steno-typist

Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200/- + 2000 Grade Pay

Clerk (Accounts)
Number of vacancies : 04
Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200/- + 1900 Grade Pa

Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator (on contract basis)
Number of vacancies : 11
Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200/- + 1900 Grade Pay

Age Limit : 18-37 years as on 18/07/2011 (Relaxable as per rules)
