University of Mysore

The University of Mysore (Kannada: ?????? ???????????????), is a public university in India. The university opened on 27 July 1916, and the first chancellor was the Maharaja of Mysore. The University became the first outside the domain of the English administration in India, the sixth University in India as a whole, and the first ever University in Karnataka. The University now encompasses 122 affiliated colleges and 5 Constituent Colleges (with an aggregate of 53,000 students).

Junior Research Fellow
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: Rs.16,000/-PM Educational Qualification: The candidate should have M. Sc. in Environmental Science / Microbiology Biotechnology /Botany. Preference will be given to the candidates who have cleared CSIR-UGC JRF/NET (LS) / GATE or equivalent examinations.
