Indian Income Tax Department

The Indian Income Tax Department is governed by the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) and is part of the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. On one hand, CBDT provides essential inputs for policy and planning of direct taxes in India,at the same time it is also responsible for administration of direct tax laws through the Income Tax Department.

The chief commissioner of Income-tax, Pune, Pune Region invites applications for the recruitment of Meritorius Sportspersons in Different games/sports for the posts of Tax Assistants and Multi Tasking Staff

Tax Assistant (TA)
No. of Posts : 10 Posts
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,400/-
Qualification : Degree from the recognized university or equivalent and having data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
Age limit : 18-27 years

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
No. of Posts : 04 Posts
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 1,800/-
Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent pass
Age limit : 18-25 years

List of Games/Sports : Athletics, Badminton, Body Building (Men), Chess, Cricket (Men), Lawn Tennis (Men), Swimming, Table Tennis, Volley Ball (Men)

How to Apply :
Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format  attach photograph, attest signature, super scribed as “Application for the post of ____ under Meritorious Sports Persons Quota Name of the Sport: _____” and send it along with relevant copies of documents duly attested by a Gazetted officer to the following address ” To The Income Tax Officer, (HQ) (Admn), Aayakar Bhavan, 12, Sadhu Vaswani Road, Pune 411 001 on or before 20-12-2012 by 5.00 PM.

Tax Assistants

Qualifications : Graduation from a recognized University
Age limit : 18-25 years

Multi Tasking Staff
