The main observing facilities of the Institute are located at Kodaikanal, Kavalur,Gauribidanur and Hanle.

DRIVER
No. of Vacancies : 01 Posts (UR)
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 1,900/-
Qualifications : SSLC Pass from a recognized Board with valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicle / Heavy Motor Vehicle and thorough knowledge of motor mechanism.
Experience : Two years experience in driving LMV/HMV
Age limit : Below 28 years
Place of posting : Indian Astronomical Observatory, HANLE (J&K)
