North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is a premier medical institute of India located in Shillong, Meghalaya.Though it was formally inaugurated on 5th March,2010 by the Honourable chairperson of the UPA,Smt Sonia Gandhi;the Institute has been functioning from its present campus at Mawdiangdiang for the last 7-8 years. NEIGRIHMS is both an educational institute that imparts postgraduate medical training,Undergraduate medical training,Bsc nursing course and a working hospital that provides inexpensive medical care to a large number of patients.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on direct recruitment.

Staff Nurse
No. of Vacancies : 37 Posts (UR-21,OBC-9,SC-5,ST-2)
Pay Scale : Rs 9,300-34,800 + GP 4,600/-
Qualifications : Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.  Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualifications for Male Nurse. Should be registered as ‘A’ grade Nurse & Midwife with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification for male nurse.
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 07.01.2013
