Anand Agricultural University (AAU)

Anand Agricultural University (AAU) was established this year at Anand with the support of the Government of Gujarat ,Act No.(Guj 5 of 2004) dated April 29,2004. Caved out of the erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU), the dream institution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. K.M.Munshi, the AAU was set up to provide support to the farming community in three facets namely education, research and extension activities in Agriculture, Horticulture Engineering, product Processing and Home Science.

The following Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow posts are to be filled up for the Four projects as mentioned below

Junior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 03 Posts
Fellowship : Rs 7500-8000/- per month fixed
Project Title :
1. Bioefficacy and phytotoxicity of Antracol 70WP (Propineb 70% WP) against leaf spot diseases of cotton. (B.H. 18454-17)
2. Bioefficacy of UPF-509 against major diseases of chilli. (B.H. 18454-11)
3. Testing of Zineb 68 % + Hexaconazole 4 % WP (AVTAR) against diseases of Cotton and Maize.
Qualifications : B. Sc. (Agri.) and pursuing or completed M. Sc. (Agri.) in Plant Pathology
Desirable : Knowledge of computer

Senior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Fellowship : Rs 18,000/- per month + HRA
Project Title :
1. Evaluation of Carbendazim 25 % + Mancozeb 50 % WS (Sprint) against diseases of maize and onion bulb.
2. Testing of Zineb 68% + Hexaconazole 4% WP (AVTAR) and Mancozeb 62% + Tricyclazole 18% WP (MERGER) against the diseases of tomato
Qualifications : M.Sc. (Agri) in Plant Pathology and/or pursuing Ph.D. in Plant Pathology
Desirable : Knowledge of computer & Research Experience
