The Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI, Hindi: ?????? ??????? ????) is the central banking system of India and controls the monetary policy of the rupee as well as 287.37 billion US-Dollar (2009) currency reserves. The institution was established on 1 April 1935 during the British-Raj in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and plays an important part in the development strategy of the government.

Applications are invited from the meritorious sportspersons for the post of Assistant/Office Attendant in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/Bank) from Indian Citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and East African countries or Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania with intention of permanently settling in India

Assistant/Office Attendant
No. of Vacancies : 50 Posts (Cricket Men-18,Football Men-9, Badminton Men-8,Carrom Men-1, Carrom Women-2, Table Tennis Men-8, Table Tennis Women-4)
Pay Scale : Rs 8,040-20,100/- (Assistant); Rs 6,350-13,750/- (Office Attendant)
Qualifications : For the post Assistant : At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. The Bachelor’s Degree should be from the University within the Recruitment zone as per note. For the post of Office Attendant : At least 10th pass from the board within the Recruitment Zone as per note
Age limit : 18-26 years

Applications complete in all respect should be forwarded by ordinary post to the Regional Director Reserve Bank of India, Recruitment Section, at respective centre where the application submitted. Applications may also be deposited in a special box kept at the Bank’s building at the mention address from 10.00 AM to 05.00 PM on weekdays except on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
