The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is the country’s premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. It has served the cause of science and society with distinction through first rate research, generation of appropriate technologies and development of human resources. The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is the institute for advanced education in agriculture  in India. It was established in 1905 as the Imperial Agricultural Research Institute. The campus was originally located in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar and was relocated after the Bihar earthquake of 1934 to New Delhi to a place that is now called Pusa in New Delhi

Applications are invited for filling up the following Technical Posts, Driver, & Skilled Support Staff at IARI Hq., New Delhi and its Regional Stations under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR):

Technical Assistant (Field Farm Technician)

Qualifications : B.Sc in Agriculture OR equivalent from recognized University
Age limit : 18-30 years

Hindi Translator – Press & Editorial Staff

Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,800/-
Qualifications : BA (Hons.) in Hindi or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with 3 years experience in science writing and science journalism in Hindi language
Desirable : Diploma in Journalism
Age limit : 18-30 years

Field Man (Field Farm Technician)

Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,000/-
Qualifications : Matriculation with at least one year certificate in Agriculture from recognized Institutions.
Age limit : 18-30 years

Laboratory Assistant

Pay Scale : Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,800/-
Qualifications : Bachelor Degree in Agriculture from recognized University with Specialization in Horticulture PG in Horticulture will be preferred
Age limit : 18-30 years

Driver
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,000/-
Qualifications : Matriculate (10th) from recognized Board. Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from prescribed Govt. Authority/ Institution (The candidates will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate committee of Institute/ Directorate
Age limit : 18-30 years

Skilled Support Staff
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale :  Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,000/-
Qualifications : Matriculate (10th) from recognized Institution/Board and should know cycling
Age limit : 18-25 years

Application form must accompany with a (NON REFUNDABLE) Bank Draft of Rs. 750/- ( SC/ ST / Women and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted) drawn in favour of Director, I.A.R.I. payable at New Delhi.
