Directorate of Groundnut Research

Directorate of Groundnut Research, formerly known as National Research Centre on Groundnut was established in Junagadh under ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research) in 1979.  The DGR came in to being as the first crop commodity research unit under the category of NRC’s (National Research Centres) of the ICAR.

Applications are invited from eligible persons for filling up the following posts.

Senior Technical Assistant (T-4)
No. of Vacancies : 03 Posts (SC-1,UR-2)
Pay Scale : Rs 9300-34,800 + GP 4,200/-
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Bachelor’s degree in
Biology or Life Sciences or Bio Science from a recognized university
Age limit : 18-30 years

Technical Assistant (T-3)
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post (UR)
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,800/-
Qualifications : -do-
Age limit : 18-30 years

Stenographer (English) Gr. III
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,400/-
Qualifications: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Passing examination of shorthand and typewriting in English conducted by any Govt/recognized institution. The candidate will be given one dictation test in English at 80 WPM for ten minutes. The candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on Computer.
Age limit : 18-27 years

The sealed envelope super scribed “Application for the post of Technical Personnel” should reach the Director, Directorate of Groundnut Research, P.B. No. 5, Ivenagar Road, Junagadh-362 001, Gujarat on or before 26.04.2013 (5:00 p.m.).
