Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India’s primary nuclear research facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for India’s nuclear power and research programme. BARC is also responsible for India’s first PWR at Kalpakkam, a 80MW land based prototype of INS Arihant’s nuclear power unit, as well as the Arihant’s power pack itself.

Applications are invited for the following posts from eligible candidates against the vacancies in BARC and constituent units of DAE located in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai

Stenographer Grade III
No. of Vacancies : 28 Posts (UR-14,SC-4,ST-3,OBC-7)
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 2,400/-
Qualifications : Matriculation or equivalent. Minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Shorthand & 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting
Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing,

Stenographer Grade II
No. of Vacancies : 08 Posts (UR-7,ST-01)
Pay Scale : Rs 9,300-34,800 + GP 4,200/-
Qualifications : Matriculation or equivalent. Minimum speed of 100 w.p.m in English Shorthand and 45 w.p.m in English Typewriting
Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing,

Age limit : 18-27 years
