Tezpur University

Tezpur University was established by an Act of Parliament in  1994. The objects of this Central University as envisaged in the statutes are that it shall strive to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary courses to meet the regional to national aspirations and the development of the state of Assam and also offer courses and promote research in areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in the emerging areas in Science and Technology

Applications are invited for the following positions in a DIT sponsored Project entitled “Setting up of Facilities for Fabrication of Micro-electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Devices” under Professor P.P. Sahu, Chief Investigator, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Tezpur University.

Senior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Fellowship : Rs 18,000/- + HRA as per rules per month
Qualifications : ME/M.Tech. with one year experience in VLSI design and technology.

Junior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 02 Posts
Fellowship : Rs 12,000/- + HRA as per rules per month
Qualifications : BE/B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with two years experience.

Technician
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Fellowship : Rs 8,000/- + HRA as per rules per month
Qualifications : Certificate in ITI on Electronics and Communication Trade with three years experience/Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Age limit for all positions : 28 years

A walk-in-interview will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 06 May, 2013 in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Tezpur University. Interested candidates may appear before the interview board along with the original documents and photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV).

Project Fellow

Remuneration : Rs. 14,000.00 (Rupees fourteen thousand) only per month for initial 02 years and Rs. 16,000.00 (Rupees sixteen thousand) only per month for the third year
Qualifications : M.Sc. (Physics) with specialization in High Energy Physics
Age limit : Below 28 years
