Number of Positions: 1 (One) (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: First or High second class Post Graduate degree (55% and above) in Economics with specialisation in Labour Economics or M.Sc.(Statistics) with Econometrics and Ph.D. in Labour Market or Rural Employment /related issues.
Pay Scale: Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP of Rs.10,000/-)
Experience: 10 years’ experience in teaching in a recognized University or training and/or research in any recognized Institution of which at least 5 years at the level equivalent to that Reader of a University or equivalent thereto.
Desirable Qualifications:
i) Independent research/ field experience with published books and research papers in the relevant field.
ii) Experience in conducting training and research in rural development and related issues.Job Number: 02
Job Designation: Associate Professor
Number of Positions: 1 (One) (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: First or High Second Class Post Graduate Degree (55% and above) in Political Science/Public Administration/Public Policy/ Economics/ Local Governance with Ph.D. in the relevant area.
Pay Scale: Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP of Rs.10,000/-)
Experience: Atleast 7 years of experience in teaching in a recognized University or training and / or research in any recognized Institution/ Consultancy in the relevant discipline/ subject, of which a minimum 5 years should be at a level of Lecturer in the University or equivalent thereto.
Desirable Qualifications: Independent research experience / published books/ papers based on original work, etc., in the area of Panchayati Raj and should have made remarkable contribution in the area of scholarship, evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curriculum.Job Number: 03
Job Designation: Assistant Professor
Number of Positions: 3 (Three) (UR-02,OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Minimum of High Second Class Post Graduate Degree (with 55% and above marks) with Ph.D. in the relevant discipline in Social/ Physical Sciences/ Agricultural Sciences / Computer Sciences/ Statistics/ Management Or Minimum High Second Class Master’s degree in any of the Technical disciplines with Ph.D. Or Minimum High Second Class M.Tech. degree in any of the Engineering discipline.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100 with AGP of Rs.6,000/-
Experience: Two years of experience in teaching in a recognised University or training and / or research in an Institution or relevant field experience in any Engineering/ Technological area relevant to Rural Development;
Desirable Qualifications: Independent research experience with published books and research papers in the relevant field.
