Punjab Agricultural University (PAU)

The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana, Punjab is one of the State Agricultural Universities in India. It was established in 1962 and is the nation’s oldest agricultural university in India, after Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. It has an international reputation for excellence in agriculture. It pioneered the Green Revolution in India in 1960s and is considered as one of the best agricultural universities in Asia.

Applications are invited for the folowing position at Department of Vegetable Science, Punjab Agricultural University for project entitled “Unravelling the role of molecular diversity of begomoviruses, saatellite molecules and whitefly associated with cotton-oktra in genesis of new viruses”

Project Fellow
Fellowship : Rs 14,000/- p.m. (fixed) for 1st and 2nd year and Rs 16,000/- p.m. (fixed) for 3rd year
Qualifications : B.Sc Agri / B.Sc with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 or 50% marks. Second class masters degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks

The last date for receipt application duly complete in all respects in this office (Department of Vegetable Science) is 30/05/2013. The candidates should appear for the interview on 10/06/2013 at 10.00 AM
