Punjab Biodiversity Board

The Punjab Biodiversity Board has been set up as a statutory body under Section 22 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002, promulgated by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), Government of India (GOI), in response to actions required to be taken up under the International Convention on Biological Diversity of which India is asignatory.  The Convention recognizes the sovereign rights of each country in its biological resources and associated traditional knowledge.

Applications are invited for the positions of:

Technical Officer
No. of Vacancies : 02 Posts
Salary : Rs 14,000/- + 20% HRA
Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Ecology / Environment / Forestry or MSc. Agriculture from a recognized university.
Age limit : 38 years

Assistant (Finance & Administration)
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Salary : Rs 12,000/- + 20% HRA
Qualifications : B.Com from a recognized university with two years experience in similar position, preferably in Govt. promoted organizations. Should have knowledge of Tally Accounting package and MS Office and will be responsible for assisting in Financial, Administration and personnel matters of Punjab Biodiversity Board
Age limit : 38 years

How to apply:
Application in prescribed proforma accompanied by a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of testimonials and demand draft of Rs 100/- in favour of Punjab Biodiversity Board should be send on or before 26.05.2013
