Scale of Pay: Rs.43,200-66,000 (IDA).

Educational Qualification:
At least second class post graduate degree in botany or agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding Genetics,Agronomy or Horticulture.

Desirable Qualification:
1. Ph.D. in Plant breeding or genetics or agronomy or plant pathology.
2. Administration experience in management of agricultural farms/Seed Production.
3. Good working knowledge of agricultural programmes and agro climatic condition in different parts of the Country.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on 01.01.2012.
