Candidates for Post No. (s) 5, 6 & 7 possessing M.Tech. should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks of CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale along with B.E/B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg)/M.Sc. in first class with aggregate of 65% (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale. Candidate for Post No.(s). 1 to 4 who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply along with the documentary proof of submission of their Ph.D.

Pay & Allowances:
1. Scientist/Engineer – SC Rs 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs 5400/- p.m
2. Scientist/Engineer – SD Rs 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs 6600/- p.m

Age as on 01.03.2012:
The age limit for the post of Scientist/Engineer-SC is 35 years but relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
There is no age limit for the post of Scientist/Engineer – SD.
