Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC), Chennai is one of the 39 constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research in India. It has been able to build excellent facilities and expertise for analysing, designing and testing structures and structural components. SERC is involved in various activities with the Central and State governments as well as with public and private sector undertakings. SERC is a certified ISO:9001 quality institute.
The Centre invites applications from highly qualified and motivated candidates for taking up R&D activities and also for providing engineering services to solve the problems of the industry and the society besides participating in the development of laboratory facilities.

Pay Scale : Rs 18750 + Grade Pay of Rs 6600 in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs 15600-39100
Qualification : M.Tech./M.E. or equivalent recognized Post graduate degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in structural engineering.
