Central University of Orissa has been established by the Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (No. 3C of 2009) by Govt. of India, situated at Koraput Town, Koraput district in the Indian state of Orissa. The territorial jurisdiction of Central University of Orissa is whole of the Orissa. It is one of the 15 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan period to address the concerns of “equity and access” and as per the policy of the Government of India to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrollment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.
Central University of Orissa invites application in the prescribed form from Indian nationals for filling up of the following position:
Finance Officer
Number of Vacancies : 01 Statutory Post (UR) on Tenure Basis for one Year four months.
Pay Band: Rs. 37400 – 67000 (Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-)
Qualification : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade “B” in UGC seven point scale in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute. OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institution of higher education. OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar (Finance) or equivalent.
Age limit : 62 years
