The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India’s primary nuclear research facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for India’s nuclear power and research programme. BARC is also responsible for India’s first PWR at Kalpakkam, a 80MW land based prototype of INS Arihant’s nuclear power unit, as well as the Arihant’s power pack itself.
BARC Hospital is a multi-disciplinary 390 bedded hospital catering to the medical aids of the employees of Department of Atomic Energy. The hospital is having vacancies for appointment of JUNIOR/SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS (Non-DNB) in the disciplines of ENT, Pathology and Orthopedics (1 post each) for a minimum period of six months till the DNB candidates report for duty
Jr. Resident Doctor
Consolidated pay : Rs 40,000/- per month
Qualification: MBBS from recognized university with one year internship from recognized institution.
Sr. Resident Doctor
Consolidated Pay : Rs. 42,000/- per month
Qualification : MBBS degree from recognized university plus Post Graduate Diploma in the requisite discipline recognized by Medical Council of India or MBBS degree along with one year experience as Junior Resident Doctor.
