The Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), India is an Institute of National Importance established in 1974 by Government of Kerala. Now, it is an autonomous Institute with National Importance under the administrative control of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Institute has a dedicated team of clinicians, scientists and engineers devoted to biomedical research and developing technologies in health care with emphasis on cardiovascular and neurological diseases.

Applications are invited for the following Project positions for a DST project entitled ‘The effects of maternal sleep deprivation on congnition in the offspring in an animal model’

Junior Research Fellow-1
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs: 16,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated) for those having NET and ` 12,000/-+ 20% HRA for others.
Qualification : 1st class MSc in Neuroscience/Physiology/Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
Desirable : NET qualified and experience in cognitive behaviour testing and computer skills.
Age limit : 35 years

Junior Research Fellow-2
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs: 18,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated).
Qualification : 1st class M.Tech in Converging technologies-Cognitive and Neurosciences.
Desirable : Ability to record electrophysiological signals and analyse signals & Computer skills.
Age limit : 35 years
