The Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany an autonomous institute under department of science & technology Government of India. An integration of plant and earth sciences in the pursuit of palaeobotanical researches is the primary aim of Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow. Researches on various broad topical aspects, applied and basic both, supported by state of the art instrumentation, computational technology, well-equipped laboratories with qualified experts give a true meaning to this Fusion-Science.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow for Palyonological and Nano Fossils studies under the MOES Project entitled, “High Resolution Palaeoclimatic Studies from Bay of Bengal”. The details are as under:
Junior Research Fellow
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Salary : Rs. 16,000 + HRA 20% (1st & 2nd year) and Rs. 18,000 + HRA (3rd year)
Qualifications : 1st class M.Sc. in Botany/Geology/Environmental Science with consistently good academic records. NET candidates would be preferred.
Duration : Three years or Co-terminus with the project
Age limit : 28 years
