Food Corporation of India (Hindi: ?????? ??? ????) was setup on 14th January 1965 under Food Corporation Act 1964 with authorised capital of almost $600 million to implement the national policy for price support operations, procurement, storage, preservation, inter-state movement and distribution operations.

Food Corporation of India (hereinafter termed Corporation), one of the largest Central Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grain supply chain Management, intends to recruit 16  meritorious sports personnel as Assistant Grade III (General/Depot)

Assistant Grade III
Number of Vacancies : 16 Posts (Hockey-05,Cricket-04,Football-05,Table Tennis-02)
Pay Scale : Rs 9,300-22,940/-
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from recognized University, and with proficiency in use of Computers.
Age limit : 18-27 years

How to apply:
Application shall be neatly typed /filled in the prescribed format in A-4 Size paper. Applications complete in all respects & duly signed by the applicant be placed in a sealed envelope. The envelop shall be super scribed with the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSTT. GRADE III (GENERAL/DEPOT) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”. The envelope containing the applications complete in all respects be sent by ordinary post to :- The Secretary (Zonal Sports Promotion Committee), Food Corporation of India, Zonal Office (North), A-2A-2B, Sector – 24 NOIDA. The applications should reach at above address by 03/08/2012. For candidates belonging to J&K and NE States, last date for receipt of applications will be 10/08/2012.
