The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central Government

Applications are invited for following posts in various offices under Government of India falling within the jurisdiction of Staff Selection Commission (Central Region), Allahabad:

Senior Technical Assistant
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post (OBC)
Pay Scale : Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
Degree in Agriculture followed by Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy/Plant Breeding/Genetics from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in Food crops/ cash crops (Oil seeds, Jute, Cotton, Tobacco and Sugarcane).
Age limit : below 30 years

Technical Officer-I
Number of Vacancies : 02 Posts (OBC-1,SC-1)
Pay Scale : Rs 5200-20200 + GP 2000/-
Qualification : Intermediate with Science in Zoology/Botany/ Agriculture or 10+2 class pass with Science (with Zoology/Botany or Agriculture) from a recognized University / Board or equivalent.
Age limit : 18-25 years

Jr. Technical Assistant
Number of Vacancies : 02 Posts (UR-1,OBC-1)
Pay Scale : Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
Qualification : Degree in Commerce or Economics or Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Age limit : below 30 years
