Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA)
is the nodal institute to cater to the needs of the brackishwater aquaculture sector of the country and has been a pioneer in nutrition and feed technology for brackishwater aquaculture. CIBA has developed indigenous shrimp feed technology for the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) and successfully commercialized the technology to private entrepreneurs for commercial production

The following post is to be filled purely on temporary basis under CIBA component of “National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)” project at this Institute.

Research Associate
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs.24,000/- p.m. + HRA @ 30% for Ph.D. holders / Rs.23,000/- p.m. + HRA @ 30% for Master Degree holders
Qualifications : Ph.D. / M.F.Sc. / M.Sc. / M.Phil (Aquaculture / Marine Biology / Zoology  / Environmental Science) with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with atleast  two years of research experience in the relevant subject
Age limit : below 40 years (men), below 45 years (women)

Eligible Candidates may appear for the Walk-in-interview with original Certificate of Ph.D. / Master’s Degree, passport size photograph and bio-data enclosing attested copies of educational qualification & experience certificates.   TA / DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
