North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of Indian Parliament. The University is located in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya within the union of India. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the parliament act, are “to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement”.

Application are invited for the post of Field Attendant in MoEF funded ” All India Coordinated research project on Reproductive Biology of Four Rare, endangered and threatened (RET) tree species of North East India particularly in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya

Field Attendant
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Qualification : +2 pass/with field experience in the forests
Desirable Knowledge of indigenous languages of Meghalaya and/or Arunachal Pradesh
