Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI)

Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) was established in 1970 as one of the agricultural research institutes in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The Institute had the mandate to undertake research on coconut, arecanut, cocoa, cashew, oil palm and spices at the time of establishment. The research on cashew, oil palm and spices were later delinked from CPCRI to form separate institutes.

Technical Assistant

Qualification : First or Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Botany/Bio-Technology/Chemistry from a recognized University.

Field Investigator

Qualification : First or Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University

Farm Assistant – 3 posts

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + GP Rs. 2800 (PB-1)
Qualification : First or Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Botany/Plantation Development from a recognized University.

Stenographer – Gr. III
Number of Vacancies : 1 post
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + GP Rs. 2400 (PB-1)
Qualification : 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University

Lower Division Clerk
Number of Vacancies : 4 posts
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + GP Rs. 1900 (PB-1)
Qualification : 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer

Junior Accounts Officer
Number of Vacancies : 1 post
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (PB-2)
Qualification : By Permanent absorption of eligible and willing SAS passed personnel in Pay Band-2, Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- from the organized Audit and Accounts Departments and Services.
