Centre for Wind Energy Technology (C-WET) has been established in Chennai in the year 1998, as an autonomous R&D institution by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. It is a knowledge-based institution of high quality and dedication, offers services and seeks to find complete solutions for the kinds of difficulties and improvements in the entire spectrum of the wind energy sector by carrying out further research. It has a Wind Turbine Test Station (WTTS) at Kayathar with the technical & partial financial support by DANIDA, Govt. of Denmark.
C-WET needs Project Assistants for its S&C, Testing & WRA Units purely on temporary basis. Their engagement will be initially for a period of one year, extendable further depending upon the performance and need.
Project Assistant – I

Stipend : Rs 10,400/- per month
Qualifications : B.Sc., (Physics / Maths) OR Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics / Civil Engineering
Age limit : 25 years
Project Assistant – II
Number of Vacancies : 12 Posts
Stipend : Rs 15,600/- per month
Qualifications : B.E / B.Tech (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engg.) OR B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical /
Instrumentation and control / Mechatronic Engg. OR B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication/IT or M.Sc.in Information Technology/MCA OR M.Sc Geo Informatics (Arc GIS knowledge) OR M.Sc. (Meteorology)
Age limit : 28 years
Project Assistant – III
Number of Vacancies : 1 Post
Stipend : Rs 18,200/- per month
Qualification : M.Tech Atmospheric Science
Age limit : 32 years
